About Libby

A smiling woman with dark hair tied in a bun, wearing a black athletic top and blue leggings, stands in a gym. She is looking over her shoulder, posing confidently, with her hand on her back. The background is blurred with gym equipment.

For over a decade, I coached movement through dance, helping performers refine their technique, build confidence, and express themselves through movement. The natural transition from dance to fitness led me to strength training, where I found my true passion: empowering people to become stronger, more capable versions of themselves.

As a NASM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Certified Nutrition Coach (CNC) with a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a background as a Fulbright Scholar, I bring a deep level of education and teaching experience to my coaching. I believe that knowing how to train is one thing, but knowing how to teach is what truly sets a great coach apart. My approach prioritizes education, sustainable habits, and best practices over quick fixes or gimmicks.

My Why

My coaching is built on a simple but powerful belief: strength training and proper fueling are tools for living a stronger, more confident life outside the gym. I help my clients shift from chasing smaller to chasing stronger: trading restrictive dieting and over-exercising for a sustainable approach that lets them eat more, train smarter, and perform their best.

If you’ve spent years stuck in the cycle of under-eating, burnout workouts, and frustration with slow progress, I’ll help you break free from that. Together, we’ll rebuild your foundation around strength, recovery, and fueling your body like an athlete, so you can finally see results that last.

Growing up in the world of competitive dance, I was constantly surrounded by the message that leaner was better, smaller was ideal, and appearance was everything. That mindset was exhausting. When I discovered CrossFit—and learned how to properly fuel for it—everything changed. I stopped training to take up less space and started training to see what I was capable of. Now, I don’t worry about eating “too much.” I eat to perform, lift heavier, recover better, and feel unstoppable.

Now, my mission is to help others experience that same transformation: to feel strong, fueled, and confident in the gym, at the table, and in everyday life.

When I’m not coaching, you can find me competing in CrossFit, cooking (and baking!) in my kitchen, or diving into a great book. I believe food is meant to be enjoyed, and I love sharing meal prep strategies and recipes with my clients (my brownie recipe is legendary!).

If you’re ready to break free from the restrictive fitness mindset and step into a stronger, more confident version of yourself, let’s work together. Your goals are within reach, and I’ll help you get there.
